The Troupi Winery, a relatively new winery in Mantinia, stole hearts with an exceptional wine that made its debut a few years ago. The love and care they dedicated to cultivating the Moschofilero variety, at an altitude of 700 meters, under the continuous supervision of a local grandfather, are reflected in every drop of the wine.
Moschofilero, known for its white wines, transforms into an exquisite rosé in the hands of Yiannis Troupi and Kostas Koutsoumbos. The harvest period and the special processing of the fruit play a crucial role in the outcome. The fruit's stay at low temperatures and the extraction with the skins impart the wine with its wonderful color and aromatic character.
The "Tomē Rosé" is produced from the free-run juice, without any pressure, with regular batonage adding body and texture. The result is a refined rosé wine, of very limited production, standing out among the best Greek wines. The pioneering use of techniques, the care of the winemakers, and the use of high-quality raw materials are evident in every sip, offering an exceptional tasting experience.
